Superficial Liposuction : Getting Rid Of The Muffin Top For Good!

Before you read on about what sort of liposuction treatment may be right for you, let me tell you about a program that I strongly suggest you check out before you start considering the risks and benefits of liposuction.  Check out this top selling waist-reducing program before you spend a single coin on liposuction treatment. You might just find the solution to unwanted fat, without the associated risks and cost. Now, on with the rest of the article.

” How do I get rid of my ‘muffin top’?”  This is one of the most common questions regarding liposuction, only trailing “Where can I find a cheap liposuction doctor?” in popularity.   The muffin top, or fatty area around the waist that spills over the pants waistband, is one of the hardest areas to treat cosmetically.  You can diet right, exercise plenty, and still seem to be unable to get rid of that fat.  Until now, that is.

A new treatment, called superficial liposuction, is the latest procedure that has been developed to fight the unsightly muffin top.  Studies have shown that genetics are what determine where the fat is deposited in your body.  Unless you have zero percent body fat, which is nearly impossible’ on a normal diet, your body has to choose where to store its fat deposits.  The area around the waist is one of the more common fat storage areas that the body chooses.  Unfortunately, with fashion trends the way they are, lower waistlines are in, which tend to bring even greater exposure to that part of your body.  So, how can you combat this?

Superficial liposuction, a new liposuction technique, was invented in London.  This is how it works:  Unlike traditional liposuction, superficial liposuction targets smaller amounts of fat in the key areas where it’s stored.  This procedure, which shapes and sculpts the waistline, can help you achieve a slimmer, more natural look.

What are the downsides of this operation?  For starters, it is relatively more expensive than normal liposuction procedures.  Prices range anywhere between $4,000 and $9,000.   Since the surgical approach is more targeted, it has to be performed under general anesthesia and the procedure can last as much as four hours.  Because of the use of general anesthesia, most patients tend to require an overnight stay at the clinic, hence the higher cost.  You’ll also be likely required to stay away from any strenuous activity, as well as wear compression garments, which will help you heal a lot quicker.

Before the advent of superficial liposuction, the most common method to treat the muffin top was to undergo ultrasonic liposuction, which is another way to target fat that is hard to get rid of.  Unfortunately, this type of liposuction was not always successful in treating it, hence the alternative method now developed.

Whatever method you choose, be sure to do your research.  As with any new technique, the further is tested, the more efficient and standardized the process for performing it will become for doctors.

If liposuction is not an option at this moment, you might try a different approach by SAVING A LOT OF MONEY doing it the natural way. Check out this great guide, “Lose Love Handles Now!” It is the low-cost alternative to liposuction.

Affordable Liposuction : Cost Is Not The Only Thing To Consider When Seeking Cheap Liposuction

In the United States, liposuction is one of the most popular forms of cosmetic surgery.  Liposuction does not only deal with the cosmetic, however, as it is also a necessary medical procedure for many.  Unfortunately, the mistaken impression that liposuction is an unneeded procedure is what allows medical insurance companies to deny coverage.  The cost can be a formidable deterrent to those who need it most.

Since it’s a surgical procedure, the costs associated with liposuction can be astronomical in the United States.  This is what drives potential patients to seek affordable liposuction procedures overseas.   The cost alone can be enticing even to those that can afford it in the United States.

What is important to consider is that the care quality can be of a lower standard.   The reasons are because the training received by the doctors may not be the latest and greatest and the quality control measurements may not be up to par.  This is not always the case, as doctors may have received their training in the United States, and the facilities may be top-notch.  Now that you’re aware of the potential risks, it’s time to review the positives.

In the US, liposuction can range anywhere from $2,000 to $9,000 depending on the particular procedure.  The cost lowers significantly if overseas. Many countries are well known for having top-notch cosmetic surgeons, and for offering affordable liposuction procedures, such as Canada, Venezuela, Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, and India.  Affordable liposuction is possible, but there are additional costs that have to figure into the your budget, such as:

- Travel Ticket

- Lodging

- Rental Cars

- Food

- Time-off Work

The above all needs to be taken into account, which will give you the true picture of how much money you’re spending. One of the added benefits, however, is that you can choose a destination that you truly want to visit. It will be an added-value if you enjoy your stay, rather than merely flying in and out as soon as possible.

The most important point is this: do the research on the internet. Visit the websites of those places that offer treatment. Call those offices and determine if the staff can speak your language. Research is free on the internet, and you will know what to expect (and request) of the facilities that will take care of your procedure.

Affordable Liposuction : What Are The Dangers Of Liposuction Procedures Performed Overseas?

Everyone knows that plastic surgery costs can be very expensive, specially in the United States.  It is why many people come to this site looking for cheap liposuction alternatives.  One of the main reasons why plastic surgery procedures, such as liposuction, are high, is because of the lack of competition and the relatively few doctors that can perform procedures.  There is really very little reason for practitioners in the United States to be very competitive with their prices.  Fortunately, there are other means to have the affordable liposuction procedures that you’ve dreamed of.

Medical tours, also called medical vacations, offer the low-cost alternative to plastic surgery that many seek, for men and women alike.  They are called “vacations” because they afford you the opportunity of combining a trip to an exotic locale, while at the same time enjoying the benefits of saving money by having a  cosmetic procedure done at a fraction of the price in the United States.

There are a few things that you need to be aware of, though.  Due to the limited vacation time, there might be little in the way of follow-up care, since the patient is unlikely to return to the location for checkups.  If a correction to a procedure needs to be made, it may be possible that a doctor in the United States might not be familiar with the procedure performed by the foreign doctor, thus, causing complications that may end up costing more than if the procedure had been done in American soil the first place.

Keep in mind that there is no universal standard for medical care, and that it varies by country.  Quality may be hit or miss, from facility to facility, as well as the care that medical equipment receives, or qualification of the staff.  Certification process for doctors or staff may be non-existent.

Remember also that whatever medical tour package you choose, it is compatible with the procedure that you are undertaking.  Your body may not be ready for strenuous activity, so take that into equation when planning the “vacation” portion of the medical tour.  Things such as climate, transportation available, quality of food, etc., have also to be figured into the equation.  You’re best limiting yourself to sightseeing activities in a non-strenuous environment.

In short, keep these risks and potential costs in mind and don’t be fixated on the cost of potential surgery overseas.  The results, if not planned carefully, may end up costing you more than you bargained for.

Cheap Liposuction : Is Undergoing Liposuction Overseas A Good Idea?

It is understandable how every person who is seeking weight reduction would consider, or resort to liposuction. Liposuction offers weight loss without the hassles of discipline, motivation and commitment to follow a diet and exercise plan before seeing effects of weight loss.  Liposuction is a surgical procedure. Considering this, you will need to pay for the service of professionals, their use of the equipment, the materials and the operating room to make this possible. All of these necessities come with a price.  I understand how some people would want to save money and at the same time trim down the annoying fat. Who wouldn’t, right?

So, let’s talk about ways to obtain cheap liposuction. Is this possible? Before I answer that question, let’s go over the facts.  Liposuction, as a surgical procedure, carries a lot of risks to the patient. If done incorrectly or by an incompetent surgeon, things could go wrong that ultimately could cost your life. Trust me, this happens. Honestly, any licensed physician can call themselves cosmetic surgeons.

What you need to do to avoid this is to seek the professional services of someone who has the experience and a clean track record in the field of cosmetic surgery. For this, you will need to do a bit of research and check on living examples of their work, such as testimonials from past clients. Moreover, look for a surgeon who is a member of ASPS (American Society of Plastic Surgeons®). This organization only accepts members who:

1.)Have at least a 3-year plastic surgery experience.

2.)Have at least a 6-year experience performing surgeries.

3.)Have undergone training and experience about every plastic surgery procedure.

4.)Adhere to [rofessional conduct and strict ethics code.

5.)Are evaluated for compliance with safety and ethical standards.

6.)Are board-certified by The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or The American Board of Plastic Surgeons.

7.)Are undergoing continuing medical education.

8.)Only operate in ASPS accredited facilities.

If you are under the care of these kinds of doctors, then rest assured your safety is in competent hands. The drawback is that these doctors charge standard to more expensive rates for liposuction. Doctors who may possibly charge less are those who don’t have the best track record or verifiable experience. If you choose to go down this road to cut back on costs, you may be compromising your safety.

Another option for cheap liposuction is to travel abroad and seek the services or foreign cosmetic surgeons. Some people would call this a beauty travel or medical travel. Countries such as Argentina, Hungary, Colombia, India or Thailand offer cheaper liposuction prices than what you could find at home. Some vacation packages include liposuction treatment in the price of the trip.I know that this idea may seem tempting. Just imagine: Sandy beaches and resorts, cheap liposuction and a better-shaped body when you get home. Who wouldn’t want that?

Before you decide, let’s pause briefly and consider the consequences.  The problem with overseas cosmetic surgery is that you absolutely have no way of making sure that the facility or the surgeon is certified with the necessary skills and experience. An infection may occur along the process as you’re body is not accustomed to the bacteria in that country, which makes you vulnerable, unlike the citizens who might be immune. Lastly, once you get back home and realize that the overseas clinic caused post-operative problems, you cannot have access to legal recompense since U.S. laws will not apply to them.

Considering cheap liposuction in exchange for guarantee of your safety may not be the best choice you can make, but the choice is still completely up to you. Remember, we should consider our safety and well-being first. Try not to gamble just so you can save money. Logically speaking, if you spend less for a liposuction but get other problems that you need to pay for (plus you get stressed because of it), this may eventually become more expensive than if you just paid for the regular rate of liposuction with a higher chance of safety.

Buttock Liposuction – Firm Up Your Backside!

Liposuction is probably one of the world’s most common kinds of surgery. It is a fat-removal surgery where a body part is enhanced through fat-reduction and refining. Any part of the body can undergo a liposuction.

Buttock liposuction is one of the frequently sought after kinds of liposuction. It is the permanent removal of fat from the buttocks to achieve that natural rounded curve together with a younger, slimmer and athletic look.

The accumulation of fat along the lower back and abdomen may be part of your genes. This means that no matter how much you diet or exercise, your buttocks will always tend to store your body fat. These diet and exercise resistant fats will grow stubborn and frustrating on your part since no amount of lifestyle change can get rid of it. That is why buttock liposuction is a great solution to help you with this cosmetic problem.

However, buttock liposuction is not for everyone. As always, candidates are chosen during consultation using a few things to consider. For example, the patient must be an adult, in good physical and mental health, within 10-15 lbs of his/her normal body weight, and does not have any underlying sicknesses.

Furthermore, the buttocks must have high skin elasticity with high proportions of fat. This ensures that after the buttock liposuction, the buttocks’ skin can recoil back to a better and slimmer shape. However, if the skin around this area is very loose or does not have good elasticity, then the procedure may require going with other cosmetic procedures for the buttock such as a “butt lift”.

The safest and best way to perform buttock liposuction is through the use of tumescent liposculpture. This procedure is the safest form of liposuction because it only uses local anesthesia. This means that you won’t stay as long on the operating table and you are free from the risks of general anesthesia.

Tumescent liposculpture starts with the injection of a solution to your buttocks. This solution is composed of lidocaine (which acts as your anesthesia), epinephrine (to prevent bleeding), and saline solution (to help swell the fats and separate them from the skin and muscles). After the solution takes its effect, your surgeon makes a very small incision along the crease of your buttocks. This means you won’t have to worry about scarring later on. The surgeon then inserts a very small cannula, the size of a lead on a number 2 pencil. A cannula is a hard tube that is connected to a suction machine. It works to separate the fat from the muscles and siphon them out.

Recovery from tumescent buttock liposuction does not take as long as traditional liposuction. This is because small incisions were used. However, you may expect drainage from the area lasting for about a week. Don’t worry though; your surgeon will attach absorbent pads to collect the drainage.

Light exercise may be advised after the procedure to promote healing. Bruising and swelling may last up to 3 weeks. Your surgeon will prescribe you medications to help out with these discomforts. You should be back to work in 3-4 days, provided it is not too physically demanding on your part. Sedentary work such as a desk job, computer work, and the like are okay.

Overall, butt liposuction is a great and safe way to get back that youthful and slim buttock you’ve had or want to have. Keep in mind that this is not a weight-loss procedure, but a procedure to refine your curves and looks. For a better effect, you may want to perform exercises to further shape your buttocks after liposuction.

Ever Wondered What Undergoing Liposuction Feels Like?

From Amazon.com:

From Kathyne:

Writing this book has been a very essential part of my recovery. Except for my son, doctor, and finally, my Mom, there was no one I had chosen to confide in. Putting my own experiences down on paper gave me a chance to not only relive the experience and face the uncertainties, but to understand my motivation for doing it.

Writing this book was an emotional lifeline for me and it’s been a wonderful outlet. Also, where else could I have expressed the joy of going from a size 22 to 16 in two months?

Since no one knew I had the surgery, this book was the one place where I could shout. This book was also written with others in mind. There may be those who felt as I did. They’ve secretly dreamed of undergoing the procedure because they were just as unhappy with certain aspects of their bodies as I was. They’ve squirreled away some money in the hopes that one day they might also take the next step. There are also those who have taken that step.

I hope my words help someone else who’s alone with their thoughts and pain as I’ve been, give them a much needed mental hug, and let them know that someone else had undergone what they are considering or are now enduring. At those times, when I was most vulnerable, I kept telling myself that there would be people reading my words and saying to themselves, “This is normal. Kathyne went through this too, so I won’t worry” Am I am glad I did it? Would I do it again?

Liposuction Love Handles – How To Get Rid Of Them

Liposuction is a well-known procedure where the fat is siphoned out of the body to achieve a better and slimmer look. However, Love Handles may come as a new term for some people. Love handles are the fatty deposits that take place along the sides of your abdomen. This occurs more in men then in women. Either way, it ruins a woman’s hourglass shape and man’s tapered look for the torso.

Love handles tend to develop when fat accumulates along the side of the abdomen. This is common for most people and the frustrating thing about it is that you can’t easily get rid of it using traditional diet and exercise. That is why a lot of people tend to opt for love handles liposuction to get rid of those stubborn fats and earn that tapered look for the torso men crave for. Women will be able to get back their ideal hourglass shapes.

This procedure requires a lot of preparation before anyone can undergo it. First off, the patient must attempt to lose the love handles using diet and exercise. The reason behind this is because even if the diet and exercise will not prove effective, the procedure will not work if the patient is not on a non-fat diet.

Patients also need to set realistic goals and expectations about the procedure. They need to know that this is not a weight loss operation. This is, in fact, a procedure to sculpt the torso into a more attractive and cosmetically pleasing look, removing only appropriate amounts of fat. Only people who are fit, 15 lbs at most overweight, above 18, and do not have underlying diseases or disorders are allowed to undergo the procedure.

The procedure’s results vary from person to person. That is why proper expectations need to be set beforehand. The person needs to not only be physically ready, but mentally as well to help cope with the procedure.

The tumescent type of liposuction is used to remove love handles. This is one of the safest forms of liposuction out there. This starts out by injecting a solution of medications that swell the area to make it easier to siphon out the fats, nullifies the pain to make the procedure more comfortable, and decreases or prevent bleeding to make the operation safer and complication-free. The anesthesia used here is a local anesthetic. Unless the doctor decides, then a general anesthetic may be used.

Once the medication is injected, the surgeon inserts a cannula. This is a hard, straw-like tube that is connected to a suction machine. It sucks out the fat and helps you get that slimmer look and smaller waistline.

After the procedure, you may notice that there is fluid drainage from your wounds. This may last for up to 3 days. The fluid is part of the medication that was injected to help the success of the operation. Your doctor may install absorbent pads to help collect the drainage and make things more comfortable for you.

Bruising and swelling are also very common symptoms to find after any liposuction procedure and they may occur for weeks to months. Your doctor may advice you to perform mild exercise. It will be a good idea to follow this suggestion since this can hasten the healing process. Overall, the whole procedure may cost you around $3000 – $7500.

Consult your doctor about love handles liposuction. This will be a great way to get more information about the procedure and what to expect. If you feel you don’t want to undergo the procedure, you can always search for information about Love Handles Exercises. There is a series of rigorous exercises specifically aimed to work on love handles.

If liposuction is not an option at this moment, you might try a different approach by SAVING A LOT OF MONEY doing it the natural way. Check out this great guide, “Lose Love Handles Now!” It is the low-cost alternative to liposuction.

Think You Know More Than A Caveman About Food? Think Again.

Ever wondered why it seems like older generations where able to live longer and appear healthier than current generations? Doesn’t it seem like there’s an epidemic of diseases, such as high-cholesterol, heart-disease, obesity, and other diet-related problems?

The answer and solutions to these problems may be found looking back to our past ancestors’ diet!

Our ancestors knew how to lead lives in the healthiest manner possible. Remember, back then there were no fancy exercise programs, costly cosmetic surgery, or complicated diets.

What can we learn then from our ancestors, about how to live longer, leaner, and healthier lives, without the dangerous added fat? Here are the lessons from that have stood the test of time, since the dawn of cavemen:

1- Cavemen were very skillful hunter and gatherers. Meaning that they only ate what they could hunt in the field, or what they found on trees or other plants. Thankfully, we have available the convenience of grocery stores. But how does that help us?

You could, for example, eat lean meat, along with fresh vegetables, and fruit for dessert. This type of food is not different to what a caveman would’ve eaten. But if you add pasta, or bread for example, now you are adding things not normally found in nature, since they did not exist. Adding pasta or bread makes our diet less healthy.

2- What kind of beverage was preferred by cavemen? I’ll give you a hint: It was something that they could find plenty of in nature. What is that? Water, of course!

Water is essential to any diet, and we don’t drink nearly enough of it. Lac of water i our diet causes constipation, headaches, hunger, among other things, which would be resolved by adding plenty of water to our diet. Drink plenty of water to help start losing weight.

3- Another essential part of the caveman’s life was physical activity. While this is not directly related to dieting itself, being active makes the fat loss process much quicker and effective.

Imagine how crazy the caveman would thin we were if we asked him to go sit down in an office for 8 hours, then come back home and sit for the rest of the night until bed time! Anything that helps you stay active, whether going for a light walk around the building during lunchtime, or taking the stairs instead of the elevator, will help. Every little bit of activity does add up!

Don’t go into any crazy diets that consists of depriving yourself from the necessary body nutrients. The Diet Solution Program is an effective, fun, all-natural way to reduce weight, before and after liposuction surgery. Try it before liposuction surgery and you might find you don’t even need it!

Liposuction To Flanks

To get that slimmer and youthful look everybody craves for, people tend to opt for a well-known surgical procedure known as liposuction. One of the most common liposuction procedures out there is liposuction of the flanks. The flanks are located right above the hip bones, where fats tend to accumulate and give your torso a pear’s shape. This happens more in men than in women.

Fat along the flanks, also known as love-handles, accumulate along the side of the abdomen. It ruins men’s tapered and lean-looking torso as well as women’s Coke bottle look. This frustrates most people since these fats are resistant to diet and exercise. That is why most people tend to opt for liposuction of the flanks to get rid of these fats and get that lean or curves men and women want.

Surgeons state that liposuction of the flanks will not be as effective if the client isn’t on a non-fat diet. That is why surgeons advice each client to at least attempt to remove the fat accumulation along the flanks using diet and exercise.

The procedure, same as all surgical procedures, requires a great deal of preparation. Patients need to set goals and expectations that are realistic. Liposuction’s effects may vary from person to person. Clients need to understand that it is not a weight-loss procedure, but a means to enhance body contour. Only adult clients who are physically and mentally fit, within 15 lbs of their normal body weight, and free from sicknesses, diseases, or disorders can undergo flanks liposuction.

The safest form of liposuction is utilized when it comes to flanks liposuction. This is both safe and effective when it comes to dealing with fatty accumulation along the flanks. The procedure is known as tumescent liposuction. The word “tumescent” means to swell. This is done by injecting a cocktail of safe medications into your flanks. The medication is a mixture of lidocaine to numb the pain, saline solution to swell and separate the fat from the muscles and skin, and epinephrine to prevent bleeding. The anesthesia used here is a local anesthetic, which means it is safe. Unless the doctor decides, then a general anesthetic may be used.

A small cannula is inserted into your flanks to siphon out the fats and reshape your abdomen’s side. The cannula is so small that you won’t have to worry about scarring after the operation.

“Adits” will be placed along your flanks to help drain excess fluids after the operation. Adits are small, miniscule holes. This may last for 3 days. Absorbent pads will be placed along the adits to help collect the fluids and make things more convenient for you.

Swelling and bruising are also very things to expect after any liposuction procedure. This may stay for weeks to months. Light exercise may be advised to help hasten the healing process as well as medications and diet to follow. The procedure may run at about $3000 to $7500, depending on the extent of fat to be removed and the experience and reputation of the surgeon.

You may need to visit your cosmetic surgeon to get more information about flanks liposuction. It would also be best to do a bit of research on your part to help you make better informed choices. If you want, you can also try to look for great exercises that target the fat along your flanks. These may be good options to try before deciding to go for liposuction of the flanks.

Liposuction On Your Hips – Safe And Effective

Liposuction is a common procedure people opt for to get better curves and a slimmer look. It is not a weight-loss procedure but an operation to sculpt the body to create a better contour. One common area that people have liposuctioned are the hips. Fats tend to accumulate along the hips, especially for women. This disrupts their natural hour-glass look.

The fats that accumulate along the hips for women, and some men, cause too much frustration due to the fact that these fatty deposits are resistant to diet and exercise. That is why a hips liposuction is the best, safest, and most effective way of getting rid of hip fats and earning you better curves, a younger looking back, buttocks, and hips.

The effects and outcomes of liposuction of the hips may vary from person to person. This is why surgeons often do their best to have their clients set their minds on realistic goals. Clients also need to understand that the procedure is not a weight-loss method. So if they are way above their ideal body weight, they need to lose some weight first and try to stay within 15 lbs of their normal weight before their surgeon approves of a liposuction. Furthermore, it must be made sure that the client does not have underlying disorders that may be aggravated by a surgery.

As part of the preparation, clients may also be asked to remain in a non-fat diet. This helps with the optimal results of the hips after liposuction. Exercise would also be a great plus to the form after the procedure.

The safest and most effective form of liposuction is used during hips liposuction. It is especially proficient when dealing with fat along the hips. This liposuction procedure is commonly known as tumescent liposuction.

Tumescent liposuction is done by introducing a mixture of medications into your hip fats. The mixture is composed of Lidocaine to nullify pain and discomfort, epinephrine to stop any bleeding, and saline solution to separate fat from the skin and muscles. A local anesthetic is all that is needed for the procedure, which means it’s a lot safer than traditional liposuction that uses general anesthesia.

Scarring after the hip liposuction is not a problem since very small incisions will be needed for the job. This is because the surgeon uses these new small cannulas to suction out the fat out of your hips. Imagine the lead of a No. 2 pencil, that’s how small it is.

After the operation, you may expect a lot of fluid draining from your incisions. This is normal since it takes at least 3 days to completely drain out the mixture of medications that were injected into your hips. Your surgeon will most likely prescribe or attach absorbent pads along your wounds to collect the fluids draining out.

Bruising, pain, and swelling are also normal things to find after a hip liposuction. Your surgeon will likely prescribe you with medications and instructions to help you get through these discomforts quickly.

You may try exercises for the hips, should you want to experiment on your options before resulting to hip liposuction. You can also ask your cosmetic surgeon for other alternatives you can try before choosing surgery.

Thigh Liposuction – Shaping Your Thighs

Thighs are very important parts in our overall aesthetic look. This is especially true for women who love to go out wearing skirts, short dresses, and bikinis. However, most women experience fat accumulation along the thighs that eventually develop into the infamous “saddle bags”. These are very frustrating for women and often sends them spiraling down a vortex of cosmetic doom.

The sad thing about fat deposits along your thighs is the fact that it cannot be easily removed by diet and exercise. Women have the natural predisposition of developing fat along these areas in the body. It’s just how genes work. That means that no amount of dieting and exercising can get rid of these fats.

This is where thigh liposuction comes in. Thigh liposuction is a great solution for women everywhere who wants to get rid of those saddle bags or fat accumulations along the thigh. More and more women around the world are getting thigh liposuction as a way of regaining better looking and slender thighs so they can go out and be proud to wear short dresses, tight pants, or skirts.

Thigh liposuction is very safe and effective. Modern liposuction techniques even made it possible that very small incisions are required for the job, which means that scarring will be the least of your problems and healing can happen in days. Let’s take a tour at the process of thigh liposuction.

First off, you will need to learn about the procedure. By reading this article thoroughly, you are doing just that. However, if you want a higher level of information source, I can suggest a visit with your cosmetic surgeon would be wise. Try to ask him or her for a consultation, what to expect during the procedure, and the expected outcomes.

Let’s run through the actual thigh liposuction procedure. Tumescent liposuction is a modern type of liposuction where things are safer, more effective, and requires smaller incisions. It starts by injecting medications into your thighs. This is a mixture of saline solution, epinephrine, and Lidocaine. They are all aimed at assisting the surgery’s success by nullifying the pain, stopping any bleeding, and swelling the fats so they separate from the skin and muscles.

When everything is good to go, the doctor makes small incisions above your knee or probably anywhere where the incisions can be hidden if they develop into scars. A small cannula, about the diameter of a big needle, is inserted through the incision to suction the fat out and help sculpt your legs to develop a better contour.

After the surgery, you will probably be able to move around. However, it is advised you rest completely in bed for 4-5 days minimum. Feeling sore, bruising, and swelling are normal things to find after a liposuction. You may be instructed by your surgeon to wear compression wraps around your thighs for four weeks. After the 4th week, everything should be back to normal, except that new set of slim and slender legs you’ve always wanted!
