2.) The second most popular from the different types of cosmetic surgeries out there is probably Liposuction/Lipoplasty. Liposuction is done to remove excess body fat that cannot be otherwise removed by exercise or dieting. It may be done on patients who are near their ideal body weight. It is a cosmetic surgery that enhances body contouring by removing fat that form unsightly deposits around you body like double chins, flabby arms, protruding abdomens and the like.
3.) Another best seller among the types of cosmetic surgeries is Rhinoplasty (or commonly known as “Nose Surgery”). It is any form of procedure that is directly done in an attempt to reshape the nose. This cosmetic surgery may be done to correct problems like birth defects, shape of the bridge, size of the nose, shape of the tip, and the like. The surgeon will be able to shape your nose in the way you want it by manipulating your skin, bone, and cartilage on your nose. A splint will be taped to make sure that the bone and cartilage heal according to the shape you want it. Younger clients may need to wait for their growth spurt to occur before opting for rhinoplasty.
4.) Number four on my list is rhytidectomy, commonly known to you as “Face Lift”. This type of cosmetic surgery is usual among the older population who want to preserve their appearance of youth. Who wouldn’t, right? Natural factors such as the sun, gravity, and degeneration of cells all contribute to the lines and creases along our face. The surgeon “tightens” your facial skin using this procedure. Incisions are made in the hairline to manipulate your facial skin, muscle and fat before the excess skin is removed. The surgeon then sutures the tightened skin after the procedure. Scarring will be invisible once healed since they will be covered by your hair.
There are a great number of types of cosmetic surgeries out there. These four I outlined are the most sought after types of plastic surgeries. If you find something in your body which you find undesirable, pay a visit to your plastic surgeon for a consultation.
